Later, as Jesus left the town, he saw a tax collector named Levi sitting at his tax collector’s booth. “Follow me and be my disciple,” Jesus said to him. Luke 5:27 (NLT)
The words that caught my eye this morning were, “Jesus said to him.” As volunteer and vocational ministers of God’s work, we really do need to constantly be listening to what “Jesus is saying to us.”
– What are His preferences over ours?
– Where does He need us to be spending most of our time?
– Who’s been trying to speak loving accountability into our lives…that we’re not listening to?
Pastor or Christian worker…listen closely today. What is Jesus saying to you? What is He asking you to respond to and what is holding you back?
